The property is super interesting, with a great backstory, and immaculately maintained. The park attached to it is beautiful, and it's wonderful to hear the sound of the pond's fountain from your room. The size of the room was good, although not huge, and I enjoyed the terrace that my room had and the ability to walk outside. The staff (esp. Anna) were courteous and helpful, and the spa area is beautiful. I wish I had had more time to enjoy it! The breakfast was also ample, with many cold and hot options, and many beverage options. The turndown service was nice too.

It's not common to visit Gdynia in winter but it has its charms. The food for instance, Pierogi at Mandu, was tasty and plentiful. We caught a movie in Helios cinema, which requires travelling one stop on the SKM suburban train.
From Gdynia you can travel to "the beginning of Poland", the Hel peninsula. The village is definitely worth a visit. We managed to see as many as four seals in the sea :) You can do ship or bird watching - depending on your preference - from the beach, the views are great.

The weather was predictably freezing cold (December) so make sure you come prepared for the icy winds! Local food is fantastic, and really good value for money. Lots to see and do, including woodland and coastal walks, the navy museum (well worth a visit) and historic vessels moored in the harbour, convenient train services to Sopot and Gdansk and the wonderful Christmas markets. I stayed for 5 days, but with warmer weather would have been happy to stay for two or three weeks and spend more time exploring.

Gdynia being the nothern-most City of the so called "Tri-City" consiting of the towns of Gdynia, Sopot and Gdansk, along the Danzig-Bay on the Polish Baltic Sea is the place to be in Summer and I am sure there are already countless of traveller-reviews out there on the many known platforms, so there is no need for me to add something.

There is the Dar Pomorza, beach and a couple of excellent mleczne bary, besides that you have to go to Sopot or Gdansk for entertainment and atmosphere and the old town.

Very nice and spacious apartment in the city center. Building is new and facilities are great. You have lots of stores and restaurants around. Very close to the main railway station (10 mins by walk), Skwer Kosciuszki, beach and promenade. You don't need anything else. Probably the best location in Gdynia.
The hotel is neat, the staff is very friendly. Peaceful. Clean. Quiet. The view of the sea is very beautiful. The room is spacious. The breakfast is delicious. There is a kitchenette. I travel a lot and this hotel is definitely a place where I can always stay when I return to this city.
I stayed already many times in the Mercure Hotel in Gdynia, it was quite busy now because it was a long weekend with public holiday. The restaurant has good food, the breakfast is nice and has lots to choose from.
Personnel is kind and helpful.
Jakub is a lovely host. The service was perfect and he had quite the advice about breakfast, restaurants and bars in Gdynia and Sopot. Good value for money and overall a great stay.
